About Me - Sarah West

I am a portrait photographer specialising in child and family photography. After having my eldest daughter in 2004 I realised how precious it is to capture every special moment whilst they are young. With my daughter being born prematurely at just 26 weeks and weighing 2lbs 2ozs every photo I took became invaluable. I've always had a passion for photography but it was then when I decided to invest in my first DSLR camera and enrol on a photography class at night school to extend my photography knowledge and image editing skills.

In 2016, we were blessed with another baby girl (who stayed cooking until 39 weeks!) and it's been amazing capturing her first year from baby, sitting stage, 1st birthday cake smash and all the times in between. They sure aren't babies for very long so I do love to take as many photographs as possible at any opportunity.

In 2018, we welcomed the arrival of our baby boy to complete our family. Another model on my doorstep for me!
